DIY Hair Growth Serum To Stop Hair Fall And Stimulate Hair Growth

September 5, 2020

A lot of personal care products include the list of ingredients that you can barely pronounce and most of them are made of harmful substances or toxic elements.

Some silicon to create the image of healthy, smooth hair but remained clueless about the fact that silicone clog follicles, coats the hair shaft and seals out moisture.

But having a stunning, lustrous hair doesn’t come that easy. Among our environmental elements, diet and overuse of heat tools, our hair suffers and becomes dry or dull.

What should we do to avoid these potentially dangerous substances and to get long, healthy hair? How about making our DIY hair products.

In my own experience, I noticed that creating your own hair remedies is more effective than those commercially bought products.

Lets check all the benefits of DIY serum

Benefits of DIY Hair Serum Ingredients:

Castor oil

Holds omega-6 essential fatty acids that promote blood circulation hence encouraging hair growth.

It also contains essential nutrients that strengthen the hair roots and nourishing the scalp, protecting the hair follicles from shedding.

Rosemary essential oil

Rosemary essential oil promotes hair growth and improves circulation. It helps in preventing premature grey hair and regulates dandruff.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil has a natural hair’s lipid composition that makes it infiltrate deep into the hair roots.

It stimulates hair growth and nourishes hair follicles while reducing frizz that gives your hair a healthy shine.

Hair Growth Serum Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup castor oil
  • 8-10 drops rosemary essential oil

How To Prepare:

Take a glass/bottle container, mix the castor oil, coconut oil and add rosemary oil.

Apply the oil mixture on your palm and massage this on your scalp for about 2-3 minutes.

Then, continue the treatment until you covered and massaged your entire scalp. Let it sit for an hour or leave it overnight if possible.

Wash it with tepid water and use your favourite shampoo to wash it off. This DIY hair serum can be stored in a dry, dark place and work this routine 2 or 3 times a week for best result.
